Qu’est-ce que le Défi virtuel?
In an effort to comply with the new government guidelines on physical distancing, Leucan is innovating and has decided to introduce a different version of the Leucan Mighty Challenge, presented by CRH Canada and its Demix divisions. Celebrate the 5th anniversary of the event virtually in October 2020!
The Challenge will begin on October 5 and end on Thursday, November 12 with a grand virtual gathering. The winners for best individual and team fundraiser, as well as the top 3 teams in the competition will be announced.
Build your team of 5 people, select a captain and raise a minimum of $555. Have your brains, your strength and your camera ready and take the Challenge.
Participants will receive a weekly training program created by professionals. The programs will be varied for the endurance, physical and mental strength events.
Each team member will be required to videotape his or her event and send the video to the Leucan team. The results will be compiled and announced in the weekly newsletter. This will promote healthy competition and allow teams to follow their progress.
Results compilation:
Each team member will be required to videotape his or her event and send the video to the team captain. An evaluation grid will be provided for each event.
The team captain will be responsible for tallying the results using the evaluation grid and sending the 5 videos to the Leucan Montérégie team. The Leucan team will verify the results. Afterwards, all team results will be compiled and announced in the weekly newsletter. This will promote healthy competition and allow teams to follow their progress.
The Leucan Mighty Challenge, presented by CRH Canada and its Demix divisions, is :
- A unifying event that fosters team spirit;
- An event for businesses, gyms, families;
- An ideal event to enhance team building within your group;
- A medal awarded to the members of the top three teams;
- An award for the team with the most donations;
- An award for the person with the most donations;
- An opportunity to make a difference for children with cancer.
