RULES AND TIMEKEEPING

The Leucan Mighty Challenge is a non-competitive and participative team event. To take part in the event, each team must raise a minimum of $2,000 in donations to be remitted no later than Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the time of registration.

TEAM CATEGORIES

Women:
Maximum of 10 participants. Team composed of women only.

Men:
Maximum of 10 participants. Two women can join a men’s team. If you have more than two women on your team, register as a mixed team.

Mixed:
10 participants maximum. A minimum of three women is required. If you have less than three women on your team, register as a men’s team.
It will be possible to change your team category after your registration if necessary. Contact marie-helene.vinet@leucan.qc.ca if needed.

Child :
Individual registration. Teams of 8 will be created on-site.

TIMEKEEPING

At the start of the first and second rounds, the team captain hands the clipboard with the time sheet to the person in charge of the tow so the time can be recorded in the space provided.

The time starts when the horn sounds. The team must tow truck number 1 until the nose of the truck crosses the finish line, run to truck number 2 and tow again. When the nose of the second truck is at the finish line, the volunteer timekeeper yells “STOP” to let the participants know that the tow is over and the stopwatch stops running.

At the end of the two rounds, the team captain returns the clipboard with the time sheet to the results table. Times from the two rounds will be added together. A third round will be held to rank the top three teams.
