The Leucan Mighty Challenge is a non-competitive, team-based challenge. To participate, each team must raise a minimum of $1,000 in donations. Donations must be remitted no later than Thursday, October 14, 2021.
In order for an event to be considered as completed, each participant will have to film themselves as they are performing each task, then submit the video and fill out the evaluation form. The scores are tallied and verified before being announced to participants each week via a newsletter.
Videos must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on the Wednesday following the event posting or the participant will incur a penalty and lose 50% of their points. If the video is not submitted within 24 hours of the deadline, the participant will lose 100% of their points. This also applies to the submission of the proof of completion of the week 2 race.
It will not be possible to count the challenges that have not been filmed towards your final score. If the recording stops, you must start the video again to make sure you have all your points. (Depending on the type of challenge, you can start the recording from the beginning of the segment where the first recording stopped). To get your points, you must provide proof that the videos were recorded one after the other, without a break.
No bets between teams will be accepted.
Donations received after 11:59 p.m. on October 27th will not be counted towards the grand prizes for the top fundraisers. Only donations received by Leucan will be counted.
Registration deadline for the Challenge is September 22nd. No team member can be replaced after that date.
Rules that apply exclusively to the mental strength challenge will be sent out at the time of the challenge presentation. It is important to follow these specific rules.
Teams which include Leucan employees cannot win medals or prizes if they end up ranking in the top three.
You will receive a document detailing how the points and penalties are calculated at the outset of the event.
A specific amount of time is granted for the completion of each challenge. In order to allow the Leucan team to validate and tally up the points, you will have to film yourself while completing each challenge and then send your video to the Leucan team every week. The deadline for sending your video will be clearly indicated in the communications sent by Leucan. Videos received after the specified time will not be considered in the point tally.
Each week, you will receive an email with the results of the previous week’s challenge, with the top teams in each category!
The winners of the best individual and team fundraising, as well as the three winning teams in the adult and mixed-age competition, will be announced on Thursday, October 28th at the Virtual Rally.
